Dr. Waseem Ishaq, PhD Goodwill Ambassador – Human Rights (Since 2023)

Dr. Waseem Ishaq is a distinguished forensic criminologist, biochemist, and human rights advocate with over 18 years of professional experience in forensic investigation, medico-legal sciences, and evidence-based justice. With an internationally recognized academic and professional background, he combines scientific rigor with a deep commitment to human rights, transparency, and victim-centered justice.

As the Goodwill Ambassador for Human Rights at NCCB since 2023, Dr. Ishaq has been instrumental in advancing initiatives that strengthen the rule of law, forensic capacity, and the application of technology in criminal justice. His work bridges scientific research, practical forensic application, and policy advocacy, ensuring that justice systems are informed by accurate evidence and ethical standards.

Professional Experience and Contributions:
Dr. Ishaq has served as an expert witness in criminal courts, providing crucial testimony in complex cases.   • NCCB SDG AMBASSADORS will connect with the Global SDG Advocates for sharing ideas & their achievements in their respective countries. 
  • NCCB SDG AMBASSADORS will work & introduce local & global projects directly aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals. 
  • NCCB SDG AMBASSADORS will arrange meetings, seminars & face to face sessions with Teachers, Students, Parents, Human Rights & Youth Activists & community members for awareness & importance of achieving SDG 2030 Agenda.
  • NCCB will arrange Annual Visit of NCCB SDG AMBASSADORS to UN HQ for attending UN SDG related events depending on the availability of Funds & Confirmation from the UN.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE AS OUR SDG AMBASSADOR:

  • Active and ambitious Persons with the Passion of serving as Volunteer.
  • Must be committed for a minimum Period One Year.
  • Must be Capable of communicating the Concept & Background of SDG.
  • Have a Good Social Profile & Presence on Social & Digital Media.
