Muhammad Tariq Khan serves as Director International Law at the Northern Citizen Community Board (NCCB), bringing over 26 years of distinguished legal practice and multiple advanced qualifications from England, including the Solicitor Qualifying Examination (SQE), Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), and other professional law certifications. His extensive training and practical experience equip him to navigate complex legal matters at both national and international levels.
Since joining NCCB in January 2026, Mr. Khan has been instrumental in strengthening the organization’s legal frameworks and promoting a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and teamwork across all international human rights initiatives. He provides strategic legal guidance, supports policy development, and ensures compliance with national and international legal standards, contributing directly to the organization’s capacity to advocate for human rights, justice, and governance.
Throughout his career, Mr. Khan has successfully represented clients in complex litigation across civil, criminal, and family law, practicing before civil, family, district, and sessions courts, as well as the High Court of Sindh. His professional approach combines meticulous legal expertise with a commitment to ethical advocacy, making him a key advisor for NCCB’s legal strategies, international partnerships, and human rights programs.
Under his leadership, NCCB continues to expand its international outreach, ensuring that all initiatives are legally robust, ethically grounded, and collaboratively executed, reinforcing the organization’s mission to uphold justice, equity, and human dignity globally.

M. Hassan is an Advocate High Court of Sindh, originally from Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, with extensive experience in civil, criminal, taxation, and NGO/trust registration matters. He is recognized for his integrity, professionalism, and strong commitment to justice and public service.
As Deputy Director and Legal Advisor of Northern Citizen Community Board (NCCB), he will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s legal framework and institutional governance. His responsibilities include ensuring legal compliance, drafting and reviewing agreements and policies, advising on regulatory matters, and safeguarding the legal interests of NCCB in all its operations and activities.
A major aspect of his long-term contribution will be the establishment of a strong and effective legal team under the umbrella of NCCB to contest and pursue human rights cases through a strategic, sustainable, and rights-based approach. This initiative will focus on building a professional legal network capable of representing vulnerable communities, addressing human rights violations, and advancing public interest litigation where necessary. Through structured planning, legal research, and coordinated advocacy, he aims to develop a lasting legal mechanism that enhances NCCB’s role in promoting justice and protecting fundamental rights.

Senior Legal Advisor - NCCB

Advocate Sajid Ali serves as the Senior Legal Advisor at the Northern Citizen Community Board (NCCB), providing expert legal guidance and strategic direction on issues critical to the organization’s work in northern Pakistan. Since January 2025, he has played a key role in strengthening NCCB’s legal capacity, particularly in protecting the rights of vulnerable and marginalized communities.

Advocate Sajid Ali has led NCCB’s involvement in a variety of human rights cases, including high-profile matters such as the Sana Yousuf murder case, currently under trial before the learned District and Session Court in Islamabad. His work spans constitutional litigation, civil and criminal advocacy, and public interest matters, reflecting a commitment to ensuring justice and accountability.

In his role at NCCB, he provides legal representation, drafts petitions, appeals, and formal submissions, and advises the Board on regulatory compliance, governance, and legal risk management. Beyond courtroom advocacy, he contributes to community empowerment by promoting legal awareness and facilitating access to justice for those who face systemic challenges or discrimination.

A Life Member of the Islamabad Bar Association and the Islamabad High Court Bar Association, Advocate Sajid Ali combines professional expertise, ethical integrity, and a results-oriented approach.
